Pow Wow 2002

Fellow Arrowmen,

Pow Wow was great! The The Chapter did outstanding in all events. Everybody showed lots of spirit and enthusiasm for the Chapter and when playing sports. We placed in amost every sport. We came in third in Archery , second in Ultimater Frisbee , second in Tug-o-War , second in Sand Painting , as well as receiving first in Sand Painting first in Archery , first in Pre-Ordeal Ceremony , and participated in Volleyball and Dancing .

We had Lodge Board Elections at Pow Wow and our very own Josh I. was elected Lodge Chief! Also, Robert M. , our Chapter Chief, received his Vigil ! so, if you see Josh or Robert, congratulate them on their achievements.

At Pow Wow, our chapter was also a little disappointed to see Yogi go to Modoc Chapter . althought our chapter showed great spirit and the fact that Yogi is a Crow , we did not receive Yogi this year. But there is always next year to get Yogi and show all the other chapters that Crow has the most spirit in Wiatava Lodge

Chapter Banquet

Chapter Banquet is coming up soon. Iit will be on October 24 ^th , the fourth Thursday of the month. You should have gotten a flyer on the banquet already from the E.V.C. If not call Pat W.

Also, I apologize for not sending out a September newsletter. I was preoccupied with homework and report. Please accept my apologies.
