Pow-Wow 2003

If you weren't there, you missed a great Pow-Wow ! Congratulations to the Pre-Ordeal Team for taking 1 st place again this year in the Pre-Ordeal Ceremony . Crow also took 2nd place in Ultimate Frisbee and 2 nd place in Tug-o-War. The volleyball team also did great, loosing a close game in the 2nd round. In the adult category, Dan T. received 1 st place in Archery and 2 nd place in Horseshoes. Way to go Mr. T.! The Chapter would also like to thank everyone who participated in the individual events. This participation goes far in determining the overall awards.

We would also like to congratulate our two new Vigil Honor members. Pat W., our illustrious Chief and Carol D., our Adviser to the Treasurer both received their Vigil Honor at Pow-Wow .

Thanks also goes out to everyone who helped with the extra service project we were given, of taking down tents in 3 campsites.

Join Indian Affairs , dancing, drumming, ceremonies, and all the other fun things...or else, muha ha ha ha cough cough ha ha... join. We need people to do ceremonies for pow-wow!!! You must go and perform this duty for your Chapter your Chapter wants you. I have a juicy fruit attack cat.

NOAC 2004

Sign-up to go to the event of a lifetime, NOAC 2004 at Iowa State University. They are stilling looking for youth to sign-up and attend. Webelos Weekend

Crow Chapter will again be hosting the Webelos Weekend event at Santa Fe Dam Recreation Center on October 17, 18 & 19. More information will be available at the Chapter Meeting , or by contacting Ron Price.

Don't forget, elections will be held at this month's Chapter Meeting. This is one of the most important meetings of the year! Elections will be held for all Chapter Board Positions, including Chief, Executive Vice Chief, VC Indian Affairs, VC Activities, VC Service, VC Camp Promotions, Treasurer and Secretary. The Youth and Adult Arrowman of the year will also be selected. Please be there and have your voice be heard.!

NOAC will be July 31, 2004 to August 5,2004 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
It is time to get together to organize our sports teams, review the patch design, discuss t-shirt designs, committee assignments, and fund raiser events. BRING YOUR IDEAS !!!!
Our projected cost of NOAC is $650,1688 what is collected in our fund raising.
We will collect payments of $75 a month starting at Pow Wow which will be the October 1, 2003 payment, the 2 payment is due November 1, 2003, and so forth.

Uniforms not required for meeting.
